Jessica Rossler is a third-semester graduate student in the Master of Science in Biodiversity, Conservation, and Policy program at UAlbany! Jessica chose the program because it allows her to make meaningful and positive contributions to biology.
Jessica's thesis focuses on policies related to climate change and their impact on the migratory patterns of White Sharks and Humpback Whales. The study will include an analysis of temperature shifts in the North Atlantic Ocean, interviews with marine management officials, and examining existing marine protection policies. By comparing the two species, Jessica aims to make recommendations based on the existing policies to support protecting these marine animals.
