The LBCC Phlebotomy program is hosting two info sessions tomorrow, July 10th. The first from 9-10:30am and the second from 4-5:30pm. Both session will be at the Health Occupations Center in Lebanon, and advanced registration is NOT required.

If you're interested in a 15 week certification in a well-paying field with significant flexibility, please join us!

LBCC's ROV team “ROVRunners” came in 10th at this year’s MATE (Marine Advanced Technology Education) international ROV competition held in Kingsport, Tenn. LBCC was one of 30 schools at the competition – the best of an original group of approximately 300. Last year, the team also made the top 10 at the competition.

Making the top third of scores wasn’t the only good news LB received at the event, with the ROVRunners winning a first-place award in technical presentation! Congratulations, Roadrunners!!!

Happy Juneteenth! Today we celebrate freedom, culture, and community, and we honor the resilience and strength of our ancestors. Join us from 3-7pm on the LBCC Albany campus to celebrate Juneteenth with Food, Music, and fun!

For over 150 years, communities have celebrated this festive occasion over good food, games, entertainment, and family friendly activities. This event is FREE and open to ALL. If you do not have plans already, please feel free to come and go as your schedule allows. I hope to see you, your family, and friends at our community Juneteenth celebration.

Last week, over 700 LBCC students received more than 950 degrees and certificates, representing tens of thousands of hours of hard work.

Some came here with a clear goal and a steady path, and others discovered a new one while here. They didn’t passively receive knowledge; they learned how to learn, to think critically and to persevere.

Some will leave to the workforce, while others will transfer to a University to continue their studies. We hope all leave with a dedication to life-long learning, expanded possibilities for themselves and the future, and a mind capable of critical thinking.

- Commencement will begin at 5:30 pm on June 13th, 2024, on the LBCC Albany Campus.
- The event will follow a “Clear Bag” policy wherein all guests may only bring a clear bag to the ceremony; we ask that all other bags be kept at home or in vehicles.

Congratulations to our Roadrunners who just secured the NWAC Baseball Championship!

This title is the fourth overall for LBCC baseball and second in the past three seasons under head coach Andy Peterson, who is named NWAC Baseball Coach of the Year. Our Roadrunners finished the season with a 39-11 overall record, going 5-1 in the tournament. We won our last three straight to win the championship. GO BEAKS!
