We tried, we really did…

Months ago when our brew crew started planning the Mid-Valley Brewfest, it looked like COVID-19 infections were trending in the right direction. We were excited to bring Brewfest back to Downtown Albany and celebrate together again.

After reviewing the latest information with the surge in cases driven by the Delta Variant, we’ve had to make the difficult decision to cancel the Mid-Valley Brewfest this year.

This decision comes not only from monitoring the latest COVID updates but from hearing concerns from our brewers and volunteers. Ultimately the health and safety of our attendees, volunteers, and staff is our top priority.

In the meantime, don’t forget to support your local craft breweries. Grab a pint or a growler of your favorite brew and let’s help keep the doors open at our favorite watering holes 🍻

It’s Wine Wednesday over here and we’re pleased to announce that Ankeny Vineyard will be partnering with us to provide local wine at our Brewfest with their NEW Petite Pinot Peddler! How cute is this renovated vintage Piaggio Ape! Can't wait until September when we can sip some fabulous pinot from this adorable little guy 🍷

That’s it, we’re making Moonshine Mondays a thing 🥃 We’re so excited to have our friends at Marcotte Distilling Company joining us for Brewfest this year! We’re pretty sure Marcotte is home to more creative flavors of moonshine than anywhere else in the world (someone should really count)! From salted caramel and spicy cinnamon to strawberry lemonade and apple pie to root beer and cup-o-joe, there is truly a flavor for everyone! Visit their location in Philomath if you just can’t wait until Brewfest to try their incredible moonshine 😉

Ooh it’s Foodie Friday and we have the cheesiest news to share with you….. N'Reener's New York Style Sandwiches will be back at Brewfest this year slinging their signature sandwiches and more! If you can’t wait until September, stop by their food truck on Pacific Blvd. in Albany and grab your favorite meal 😋

We’re pleased to announce our second band for Brewfest 🙌 Friday night Let It Roll will be on our Brewfest stage from 7:00p-9:30p. Come grab a pint and rock out to some of your favorite songs from the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s 🎶

We love our local Oregon brewers who’ve participated in Brewfest in the past 🍻 Shout out to McKenzie Brewing from Eugene who participated at our last Brewfest way back in 2019. It’s Whiskey Wednesday over here and we’re pleased to announce that once again 4 Spirits Distillery will be partnering with us to provide local craft spirits at our Brewfest! If you haven’t been out to their location in south Corvallis yet, this summer is the perfect time to check them out! They have wonderful outdoor and indoor spaces to enjoy tasting flights, craft cocktails, and delicious food! September can’t come soon enough so get out there now and support local 🥃

It’s Monday and where are you heading for Hoppy Hour after work this week?!?!? Our Brew Crew had a chance to visit Gilgamesh’s location in Independence over the weekend and it was a hit! Just a short scenic drive from Albany to be rewarded with pizza and brews for our belies! What’s your favorite brew from Gilgamesh 🍻
