We are excited to let you know we have filled our lobby cooler with more dairy options, new soda and some not so sweet eating options. We have added several dairy products from Homeland Creamery that include Half and Half, Heavy Cream, Buttermilk, Low Fat Milk and Skim Milk. We have added Saranac Root Beer and Orange Cream Soda. We have also added several Boar's Head meat and cheese options as well as the ability to purchase a sleeve of Club style crackers to go with your meat and cheese. These options are in addition to our Lutheridge Dairy Farms Raw Milk and pasteurized whole milk. We hope these options will give you another good reason to stop by and visit us.

We are super excited to have Carter's Carters craft meats & BBQ food truck at the bakery Saturday from 11am until they sell out or we close at 8pm. We will be offering a free cookie from the bakery for each meal sold. The guys will also be using our breads for their sandwiches and burgers. Here are a couple samples of what will be available. Here is a Buffalo style pulled chicken sandwich on toasted Sweet Shop sourdough and a smoked (they smoke it) bologna sandwich on toasted Sweet Shop sourdough. Come see us Saturday for some great food!!! Remember we are open until 8pm!!!

Our Wednesday Black Powder Coffee flavors make a great way to start your day! In fact they make a great cup of coffee anytime of day!! Stop by and grab a cup!

September 16th is the first anniversary of our move to S. Second St. We want to celebrate and say 'Thank You' so we are going to do a few things on Saturday, September 14. We are going to stay open until 8 pm!! are bringing their food truck and will be with us from 11am until 8pm. If you eat with Carters you will get a free Sweet Shop cookie for dessert. We will be offering $1.00 16oz drip coffee and $3.00 Nitro Cold Brew coffee from . We will have sample bags of Black Powder Coffee to give away (while supplies last). In addition to our drip coffee, we are now making a full line of hot and cold espresso based drinks. We have also gotten our draft beer going!! We have 11 assorted drafts available daily. We will also have wines and mimosas available starting Saturday. We are excited to complete our first year in our new building and to roll out the next phase in our business. We hope we can be a great place to come and relax while having a great beverage and sweet treat!!

It is a beautiful Saturday to visit a bakery!!! We are here baking for you until 2pm today.

Our Danish taste just like I remember they tasted when we visited Pauls Bakery in Framingham, MA as a kid. Bringing favorite childhood memories to taste bids is what we love to do. Our daily Danish flavors include Cheese, Raspberry, Lemon and Apple. We can bake Cherry, Cinnamon, Strawberry, Blackberry, and Blueberry as custom orders.

In addition to our daily drip coffee offerings from Black Powder Coffee we also carry a number of whole bean offerings. We even have our own blend which we brew on Saturday and use for our espresso shots. If you are looking for great coffee, which is roasted just up the road in Mooresville, stop by and give it a try.

Saturday is Old Fashioned White Bread day at the bakery!! We also have Jalapeño Cheddar, Sourdough and Sourdough Cinnamon Raisin Breads available while they last!!

Arby's might have the meat but we have the bread!!

If you haven't tried our Cinnamon Rolls you are missing out on some great flavors! We baked these daily and ice them with our special Cream Cheese Cinnamon Roll icing or our Orange Cream Cheese Cinnamon Roll icing. What a great sweet way to start the day!!!

One of our many custom cakes we do daily. If you have never tried our Sweet Shop cake and icing you really should. Our cake is baked using a 65+ year old Albemarle Bake Shop formula. It is a dense cake with a hint of lemon that pairs perfectly with our Sweet Shop icing. This combination is unique to our bakery and can only be found here. If you grew up getting cakes from our bakery you will know that taste as soon as it hits your palette.

I sure did miss the smell of our Sourdough Bread while we were on vacation!! Our Tuesday Sourdough is on the counter and ready!!
