I want to let everyone know that we will not be having any show this year. We will try again next year to start our show season back up.

Our August show is canceled. The second Judge we had for August has canceled. Hopefully We can get the September show in. Thanks for everyone’s understanding during this difficult year.

Okay everyone because of the mandatory mask issued by our governor the horse show is Canceled. We will try again in August. The Legions property is under the government and if we have an outdoor event with more than 25 people they will be fined if they do not enforce everyone wearing a mask.

I am write this to tell everyone that we just can’t seem to get this show season up and running. This week we have had two Judges back out on us. The June show and the August show.
We will be having shows but we will not have our regular show season. We will still have our June,September and October show virus and weather permitting. Our August show will be a game show only. We will be giving out daily high point awards, but we will not have our year end banquet. We are truly saddened by our show season this year being canceled , but we will pull through. Thanks to everyone that has supported us. See you in June for our Fun Show.

We want to let everyone know that we will not have our May show, but will resume our show schedule in June.

Just want to let everyone know that the Legion is still shut down. I soon as we get word that it is open I will let everyone know. We are really excited to get our show season started and see everyone again after this long shutdown.

Hopefully we will be able to have our May show.

As everyone is aware because of the Coronavirus all horse shows are canceled until further notice. Thanks for everyone’s support.

This is the Henry rife we will be raffling on March 7th. Tickets are $5 each or 5 tickets for $20. We will have tickets on sale starting Saturday. We will also have a large Proto tool box to raffle. Pictures of tool box to follow. We will sale Hamburgers and Hotdog on Saturday March 7th. All proceeds will go to Cal Massingale to help with the loss of his home and personal property lost in the tornado last week.

I want to let everyone know that Cal Massingale the Commander of the American Legion lost his home in the storm we had last week. His home was totally destroyed. We are going to have a gun raffle, live auction, DJ and food March 7th to raise money to help. Please stay tuned for more information.

Okay everyone we are totally excited about Saturday.
We have had several people asking about cost of the food. There is no cost for the food, but we will have a tip jar if you would like to donate. We are asking for desserts if you can bring one.
Also want to let everyone know that we have a reporter that will be at the banquet to see what we have going on. He may be taking pictures and asking questions. He will also attend a show and barrel race when we get started back for the new season. The reporter is with The Albemarle Magazine and Stanly News and Press.

We need a head count for the Banquet. Please comment in the event or pm me with head count so we can prepare food.

We are looking for Horse Show Sponsors. If you are interested please let me know so that I can get posters made to have up at the first show.
