Queenright is having a laying queen in the hive. Going through several recent splits today we were pleased to find them queenright. Keep it going girls!

Checking on the girls at Deer Run Farm today. They’re super busy working those strawberry blooms and there are already heaping huge juicy berries ready to enjoy! Come on out to grab a bucket or pick your own and please say hello to the bees while they’re working! 🍓 + 🐝 = ❤️

NC Bee Exchange is scraping propolis from frames today! We also use special propolis traps our bees glue up with this sticky substance. Propolis has beneficial healing qualities and we use it in many of our products. Check out this link further more information on the many benefits of using propolis!

It’s 2024 Earth Hour day! We love our bees and they are constantly buzzing in our minds, how can we do better to help them do better? Plant more beneficials for our pollinators, create more natural spaces in our gardens for them and the critters that are essential for balance on this earth. It’s all about 🐝ing healthier and making healthier choices for ourselves and the environment. What motivates me more than anything is that our choices today impact how the world will look in the future for our children.
