We used some great colour coordinated loose parts like flowers, bottle tops and recycled buttons for our children to create.
We've used a class favourite book to create a thought provoking experience for the children! Learning through play is fun!

Guess what book this amazing sculpture was based on?!

Some incredibly creative 3 and 4 year olds created this sculpture of the big bad wolf from 'Little Red Riding Hood'!

Everything they used was recycled, from the old CDs for the eyes, bark from the trees for its head, he even had big cinnamon teeth!

I love being part of childrens creative process and supporting their ideas through books and stories. Stories are part of the culture of childhood and it is something that we bring with us throughout our lifetimes and teach to the next generations.

Books can be a great way to enhance every kind of activity for your children. Books provoke ideas, encourage children to ask questions and allows new avenues for children to explore their creativity ❄🌏🌈❤

Who doesn't love to reuse and recycle!?

A recycled sink, some much loved ceramic pots, treasures from around the garden and feathery friends make for a magical time exploring for our little friends.

Natural loose parts connects us to our environment and gives us deeper meaning of how our world works.

Children crave deeper knowledge. Through simple, open ended activities such as this one, children can be the instigator of their own scientific and creative research through play.

Counting is fun when its visually appealing and interesting!

Loose parts, mirrors, light and reflection can be used in so many exciting ways!

I like to use glass beads, bottle tops, pinecones, acorns, leaves, flowers and other interesting recycled materials for counting activities.

This is a story about two children in Ms Carmen's classroom, as they work to find out why it's important to wash our hands. They discover that washing our hands is our responsibility to keep ourselves and our families healthy.
The children have different opinions, but share the same goal of keeping their loved ones safe.
