This summer, United Way of Delaware - in partnership with Christina School District - celebrated an exciting milestone: their first Young Men United cohort graduated the program!
Young Men United connects young men of color to the resources and mentorship they need to succeed in the classroom and post-graduation. Their experiences in the program empower them to envision futures beyond what they previously considered.

Every year, 211 helps connect millions of families like the Robbins to the housing support they need.

Our at the United Way Worldwide office was a huge success! In partnership with The Outreach Program and United Way Of The National Capital Area, we packed 6,000 meals for families in need in the Washington, D.C. area. A heartfelt thank you to all of our amazing staff and volunteers!
United Way of Larimer County is partnering with Rocky Mountain Equality to expand support for LGBTQ+ teenagers in Weld and Larimer counties in Colorado. The 2021 Healthy Kids Colorado survey highlighted a mental health crisis among LGBTQ+ youth, with disproportionately high rates of suicidal ideation and self-harm. To address these critical needs, United Way of Larimer County collaborated with the Alliance for Su***de Prevention and Imagine Zero to create a powerful mural depicting youth voices.
This mural, created by J BEAN ART serves as a visual reminder of the struggles LGBTQ+ youth face and the importance of community support. Through partnerships like these, the United Way Network is committed to ensuring the well-being and empowerment of LGBTQ+ youth in our communities.
Celebrating with United Way of Palm Beach County at the annual Palm Beach Pride! United Way Worldwide is committed to supporting and empowering the LGBTQ+ community, embracing every identity, and ensuring every voice is heard.
Meet Blake, a 31-year-old artist on the autism spectrum whose journey showcases the power of community and inclusivity. Despite early challenges with verbal communication, Blake found his voice through art, earning national recognition for his unique talent.
Beyond his artistic achievements, Blake volunteers with United Way of Greater High Point's BackPack program, helping to pack nearly 1,900 food bags weekly for students in need. This initiative not only supports students' academic success but also provides volunteers like Blake with essential workforce skills and confidence.
Blake's story is a testament to the impact of community support and the belief that everyone has the potential to contribute meaningfully to society.
