Help us congratulate Rehab Services Christina Holton, MS, CCC-SLP, CLC, a Speech Language Pathologist, as our newest recipient of our ROSE Award! ROSE stands for Recognition of Service Excellence and is presented quarterly to celebrate the extraordinary efforts and compassion of Rapides Regional Medical Center’s ancillary and support staff.👏🎉
Christina was nominated by several colleagues throughout our facility. Here is just a sampling of what they wrote about her:
"Christina is a ray of sunshine every time she walks on the unit. Her positive attitude radiates on her patients when she provides feeding education. Christina has a calming spirit to the new moms that are nervous about having to care for their newborns. She does so much more than just speech therapy and every employee in RWCH knows this."
"Christina goes above and beyond for all patients and staff members. She is a speech therapist that is also certified in lactation and car seat safety/installation. She is constantly furthering her education to give the best care to our patients."
"Christina is a vital part of our department but also the NICU/Pedi/PICU area. Every single baby that leaves the NICU has their car seat checked by Christina, which is not in the job description for an SLP. She has checked over a hundred seats in the one year since her certification, and she does it all because she wants what's best for the babies."
"Christina embodies the true spirit of compassionate care, going above and beyond to ensure the well-being of our patients and their families. Her unwavering dedication, expertise, and empathy make her an invaluable asset to our team and a deserving candidate for recognition. Christina’s commitment to excellence sets a shining example for her colleagues and inspires us all to strive for the highest standards of care."
Wow!
Congratulations, Christina on your very deserving honor!
