🌟 Empowering Our Community at the Naturalization Clinic! 🌟

On September 13th, United Community’s Progreso Literacy and Citizenship Center, in partnership with the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), along with law students and staff, proudly assisted 18 clients in completing and filing their N-400 naturalization applications.

At United Community, we are dedicated to empowering individuals and strengthening the bonds within our diverse community. Congratulations to all those who took part in this transformative step toward U.S. citizenship! 💙🇺🇸

🚨 Our Food Pantry will be reopening Tuesday, August 6th! Check out our updated hours of operation to see when our doors will be open.

Effective Monday, 8/5/2024, our food pantry has new food service hours and is able to serve up to 65 households per day on a first come, first served basis. Families may visit the pantry every other week. We are currently at capacity and not able to accept new applicants. Our monthly Saturday open food distribution will continue.

Earlier this month, The Safeway Foundation generously invited Community to join in celebrating the 10th Anniversary of Nourishing Neighbors! Our local Safeway provided United Community with a cake for our staff to enjoy. Thank you, Safeway, for 10 years of supporting hunger needs in local communities! We are so grateful for your partnership.

United Community will be closed on Monday, May 27, 2024, in observance of Memorial Day. Regular hours and services will resume on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.

Sacramento Neighborhood Center is hosting a PreK Resource Fair on Saturday, May 18 from 10am – 1pm.
