Team up with our staff of experienced coaches and dive headfirst into an immersive week of drills, skills, scrimmages, and games. We aim to create a positive and educational environment for every camper, with safety as our top priority. Extended day campers are provided lunch and residential campers have all meals provided. Everyday on camp, our staff gives out daily awards to standout campers! We find that this fosters a sense of achievement and drive amongst our players. Winners receive some swag!

To accompany Elvir Prasovic, we’re excited to add Sophie Dewar to our Bedford, MA Director team!

Sophie is currently the Girls Director at NEFC Metro North and is currently coaching 2007, 2013 and 2014 girls. Her previous experience includes coaching at a Premier League academy and collegiately in the UK. Stateside, Sophie was most recently responsible for recruiting, training and managing coaching staff throughout the USA for Challenger Sports, as well as curriculum development.

Originating from the United Kingdom, having worked there in talent identification with Peterborough United and Nottingham Forest, Dave Cartwright has over 30 years of coaching and youth development experience.
He has worked with Reading Rage, Keystone Athletic and ENCO United in the PA Lehigh Valley. Cartwright spent 4 years as an assistant Coach and Director of soccer operations at Division I, Lafayette College (PA), Asst. Coach at Fairleigh Dickinson University (NJ) and 2 years as Head Coach of Lehigh Carbon Community College for men and women.

Dave holds a UEFA ‘C’, US Soccer ‘D’, United Soccer Coaches State Goalkeeping, United Soccer Coaches State, United Soccer Coaches Regional and English FA Coaching Licenses.

We are hiring both experienced coaches and beginner coaches. Experienced coaches will be tasked with leading and directing camps, as well as mentoring beginner coaches. Beginner coaches will be presented with an opportunity to grow and develop their professional skills.

As Black History Month comes to a close, True Balance Sports Camps reflects on the incredible contributions that the black community has made to the sport. Just as with Women In Sports Day, we reiterate that TBSC is committed to representing diversity within our staff and clientele.

Our goal is for every player that participates in our camp to feel seen, heard, and represented by their coaches. We are cognizant that this is a year round effort, not a month-long one. Still, what better time to highlight some incredible athletes our players should be looking up to!
