It is no surprise that paid digital marketing is on the rise in associations! 📈 Facebook leads with 40% usage (up from 37% in 2023), LinkedIn at 34% (up from 30%), search engine marketing at 32% (up from 30%), and retargeting at 30% (up from 28%). Yet, 32% of associations still don't use any form of paid digital marketing. Associations seeing membership growth are more likely to use paid digital marketing tools. 📊 New in this year's Membership Marketing Benchmarking Report: AI!

While only 11% of associations currently use AI in membership marketing, 25% are moving toward using it, and another 43% are open to considering it. Several participants highlighted AI efforts as the most innovative initiative their association is working on.

One participant mentioned they are "currently looking at using AI to increase staff efficiency," while another said they are "leveraging AI to assist in building products and producing copy."

Caroline, counted among MGI's returning talents, initially joined the MGI List Department in 2013. After a fulfilling six year stint as a middle school English teacher, she rejoined MGI in 2023. Currently, she finds great satisfaction in crafting and executing digital campaigns and social media strategies for clients alongside her exceptional team. Recently relocating from the DC area to Florida, Caroline has embraced the local pastime of learning how to golf, enjoying the beach, travel, and discovering her new hometown.
