The Bird City committee meet monthly from September to April to prepare for their annual Migratory Bird Celebration.
Bird photos submitted for the World Migratory Bird celebration which was to be held Saturday, April 18. The event had to be canceled due to the coronavirus. All photos were taken in either Door or Kewaunee Counties.

Invasive plants degrade habitat for birds and other wildlife.
Find out about invasive species and habitat improvement projects underway in Kewaunee County. The program “Bridging the Gap: Vital Steps for Invasive Species Management and Habitat Restoration in Kewaunee County”, with speaker, Kate Nelson, from Kewaunee County Land and Water Conservation Department will be held on Wednesday, May 22nd at 6:00 p.m. at Knudson Hall, 620 Lake Street in Algoma (2nd floor of the Youth Club). Educational materials and resources for landowners will be provided. Free event. Open to the public. Part of the Friends of Crescent Beach "Art of Water" month speaker series.
