We are strategic in our programming to provide opportunities for personal growth and independence while respecting the dignity and uniqueness of each individual we serve.

One way BCRC aims to foster the personal growth of its participants is through our School to Work Transition Program (STW). This program is available to students ages 14-21 and focuses on employment, post-secondary education, training opportunities, and community living.

Our participants deserve to have the opportunity to participate in meaningful activities that improve their quality of life, encourage personal growth and move them toward their desired outcomes.
We recognize that every person who comes to us has their own set of strengths, abilities, interests, preferences, needs and desired outcomes. Our services must be customized to uphold the unique needs and personal goals of each of our clients.

We believe everyone has the right to choose what support services they receive to improve the quality of their life. We know that coordinating the delivery of services can be overwhelming and time-consuming.

The Agency With Choice program reduces the amount of time you have to spend organizing your Waiver supports by handling employment-related tasks you would otherwise be responsible for.

As an Agency With Choice, BCRC manages many of the day-to-day responsibilities associated with coordinating your support services, whether you choose to receive services from us or not.

Swipe ⏩️ for a recap! BCRC was thrilled to welcome distinguished guests to our School to Work program’s Career Café this past Wednesday. With the support of grants through Walmart and Constellation Energy, Career Café was started to provide an educational setting where students could develop life skills.

Café credits are earned by students through their work at local volunteer sites and students rotate work shifts, allowing students to participate in the café as both consumers and employees. Career Café has provided the students with a realistic café experience that allows them to grow in their employment and social skills as well as develop and enhance their skills as business patrons. The students were elated to serve our guests and educate them about the School to Work (STW) program.
