The Lord was shining on our men’s Bible study last night as we read Acts 2. One man shared that he was “in the hole” when the Holy Spirit came upon him in power. He became warm all over, started speaking in tongues, and had such a beautiful sense of release and freedom that it led him to tears. All of the men want to reflect the light of Christ to their fellow inmates. God’s grace and glory were powerfully present!!

Lord, open the windows of heaven and pour out your Spirit upon us, falling
like rain on a hot summer’s day. Let every drip and drop be as a refreshing
breeze. Let it pe*****te our hearts, our minds, and our spirits. Let your Holy
Spirit wash over us and fill us, so that we may walk as you have called us
to walk and talk as you have called us to talk. Let us now have the power to
carry your gospel to our neighbors far and wide. AMEN.
