Faculty directors Dr. Paola Leon & Dr. Jamie Langlois took a group of 8 social works students to Peru where they explored intersections of social justice, human rights, and social work within Peru. They traveled to various cities including Lima, Cañete, Chincha, Paracas, and Ica where they learned, explored, and went on excursions! 🇵🇪🌎🫶

Camryn LeClere on her time abroad in Italy: “During my trip abroad, I had the opportunity to intern as a fashion marketing assistant. I worked with brands such as Ugg, Steve, Madden, Karl Kano, Vagabond, and more. I tasted delicious foods, met lifelong friends, and began to feel like a local by the end of my trip. Florence is everything you hear, magical and breathtaking. I had the experience of a lifetime and cannot wait to visit Italy again in the future!“ 🇮🇹🌍📚

GV student Sydney Bunk on her semester abroad in Seoul, South Korea 🇰🇷: "My semester at Korea University was an amazing experience that left me with so many new friends and memories! Living and studying in Seoul allowed me to learn more about Korean culture and pick up a little bit of the language!"

GV student Elena Aleman on her summer in Costa Rica 🇨🇷 “Costa Rica is a special country with an incredibly unique climate and diverse geography. It truly is the most beautiful country filled with the kindest, most genuine people I have ever met in. I have been incredibly fortunate to experience this country and be immersed in this culture for the past 10 weeks.”

GV Global Laker, Katherine Koczak on her summer in Spain: "I studied abroad in Málaga, Spain for the month of May through ISA by Worldstrides. I took B2.3 Spanish at the University of Málaga. I am extremely grateful for this experience and all the lessons that came with it. My Spanish exponentially improved and I have a newfound sense of independence."

GV student Lauren Weimer is spending her summer on a study abroad program for sustainable development of the tropics in Monteverde, Costa Rica 🇨🇷
