The twelfth annual Undergraduate Research Fair will take place Tuesday, October 5, 2021, from 5 p.m to 7 p.m. in 2250 Kirkhof Center (Grand River Room).

At the event, students have the opportunity to get information about participating in research and creative projects directly from faculty and staff.

Participating in research and creative projects at GVSU can expand students' academic experience and provide students with another way to look at the world.

Research is a process of careful inquiry leading to the discovery of new information. Research is not limited to certain majors, but occurs in all disciplines.

The Undergraduate Research Fair is sponsored by the Office of Undergraduate Research and Scholarship. Go to gvsu.edu/ours for more information!

Reminder! The 75% tuition refund deadline is coming up on this week Friday at 5 pm. Please reach out to your advisor this week if you have questions about dropping a class.

The Nonprofit Volunteer and Internship Fair hosts approximately 60 nonprofit organizations looking for volunteers and/or interns and is a great opportunity for students to connect with various agencies in the West Michigan area. Stop by the Kirkhof lawn in Allendale or in the DeVos Courtyard downtown on Sept. 14 from 12-3 pm.

The 100% tuition deadline and the last day to add classes to your FALL schedule is TODAY at 5 PM! Today at 5 is also the deadline to choose for a class to be graded as credit/no credit for the the Fall 2021 semester.

Registration for the 2021 Michigan Medical Education Day is NOW OPEN! Register now via link below -- space is limited!

Michigan Medical Education Day (MMED) is a statewide, biannual event designed to educate pre-med students about the medical school application process. The 2021 event will be held VIRTUALLY on Saturday, September 18th from 10am - 1pm EST. All sessions will be recorded and uploaded to the MMED website.

Topics include: Medical School Application Overview, Michigan Medical Schools Panel (moderated Q&A panel) and Breakout Sessions including Virtual Interviews, AAMC Core Competencies, Verified...Now What?, and The Pathways to Medical School.

Confirmation emails will be sent to students within a few days of completed registration. Please be sure to enter the correct email address to ensure delivery. The deadline to register is September 13th, 2021.
