Fixed, Whole House Units

Annual Servicing:
- Schedule yearly maintenance with a competent service professional.

Filter Maintenance:
-Regularly monitor and clean or replace filters as needed to maintain efficiency and safety.

Manufacturer Guidelines:
-Always adhere to the maintenance and servicing instructions provided by the equipment manufacturer.

Window Units

Proper Installation:
- Ensure the unit is securely installed within the window opening.

Electrical Considerations:
- Use a building electrical receptacle and circuit adequate for the unit's power requirements.
- Preferably, connect the unit to a dedicated electrical receptacle.
- Avoid using extension cords. If necessary, use one that is specifically rated for the unit’s electrical load.
- Do not use small, lamp cord-like extension cords or multiple receptacle power strips.

Filter Maintenance:
- Regularly monitor and clean or replace filters to ensure the unit functions efficiently and safely.

Manufacturer Guidelines:
- Always consult and follow the maintenance and servicing instructions provided by the equipment manufacturer.
