Sometimes the best thing you can do is laugh. Therapy doesn’t always have to be serious, sometimes you can learn to laugh and that is enough and okay! Happy Holidays from us at Finding your Voice,LLC!

“Taking care of yourself” is not defined as shrinking your body or maintaining a smaller body size. In fact, we cannot begin to truly take care of ourselves until we opt out of a system that tells us our worth is determined by a number on the scale and make peace with our bodies, sans (so?) judgment or shame.”

Finding a therapist that you connect with can be a game changer. Here is a glimpse into our therapist, Diann, who specializes in eating disorders/disordered eating, anxiety, and depression.

“I may not be the prettiest girl. Average is fine, but I'm me. I love to eat (the wrong foods) more than I should. I have scars because I have a history. And-a history that no one would imagine! Some people love me. Some people dislike me (their loss). Some even block and hate me (bless their hearts 🙄 it’s a southern thing). I have done good. I have done bad. I go without make up (everyday) and sometimes don't get my hair all fancied up (most days). I am random and silly. I don't pretend to be someone I'm not. I’m not the smartest, but I’m not dumb. I am who I am. I love deeply and passionately and won’t apologize for doing so! I am me and proud of who I am!
I hope if our paths cross, I will inspire you to find your voice and be yourself with boldness. We ROCK! 🖤”

Finding Your Voice,LLC was founded by Diann Stuart, a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in helping teens, adults, and families navigate their path through recovery.

Sessions with me are designed to your needs, providing an opportunity to acquire the skills and life changes you are seeking. I want to help you find your voice thus achieving your goals.
Life is hard enough and when you add depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, grief, eating disorders, addiction or other life controlling issues to your daily life the day ahead often seems impossible. The key is finding your voice and learning how to use it to achieve your dreams, goals, hopes and desires so you can live your best life, the life you have always wanted. Discovering want it means to be real and authentic makes the process of staying stuck where you are more difficult.
Let’s get you started TODAY to living the life you want. I’d be honored to be a part of your story as you find your voice!

My passion and desire is to walk alongside individuals and families as they uncover and find the long term solutions they need to calm their emotional storms and increase their coping skills to better handle their distress and to become their best self! I encourage self-empowerment and autonomy in a non-judgmental environment to promote hope, healing, and change that clients need to grow and flourish in their life. My approach stems from the idea that while each of us represents an individual puzzle piece, it takes the use of multiple puzzle pieces to complete a puzzle. We, as individuals, are just one piece of a bigger puzzle that breaks away from the puzzle during life transitions and stressors.

In my free time I enjoy all things Disney, watching sports (especially the GA DAWGS), exploring new areas and hanging out with friends and family.

“Around here, however, we don’t look backward for very long. We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.”

~Walt Disney
