Heads up Alpharetta/Milton areas…literally 🚁

Alpharetta residents, especially those living near our border with the City of Milton, may notice military vehicles and personnel in the area over the next few days. This is in relation to US Military training exercises that are taking place in Metro Atlanta, including southeastern portions of Milton, this week.

In a statement, military officials said, “Members of the U.S. military are conducting essential military training in and around Atlanta over the next several days. The training consists of air and ground mobility operations. Safety precautions are in place to protect participants and residents, along with planning considerations to minimize impact to the community and private property.”

There will be no public or media viewing opportunities, but this advisory will provide awareness to the community should they come across this training. This is a scheduled training exercise and is not in response to any current world events.
