Reporters asked Head Coach Bum Phillips his thoughts and if was worried about Campbell being ‘out of shape’?
Phillips said “When it’s 1st and a mile, I won’t give him the ball.”
40 years ago, Phillips knew how pointless running mileage for football players is. Science also backs this.

4 years ago Kenny desperately needed a kidney. He asked Liam if he’d test to find out if he was a match and he did.
To everyone’s surprise Liam was a perfect match and soon after followed through on donating his kidney to Kenny.
Because of that Kenny is thriving to this day. What a gift.
I share this because Liam, you may feel much of what you give to the world goes unnoticed, but I notice. I see you and I love you.

The last two weeks have been a bit hectic for me. I was getting home around 11pm and back at it around 5:45am. I’m grateful just to have the energy to do this. 6-7 years ago my current schedule wasn’t an an option.
I only lifted twice last week . The image on the left is the formula I used to get me through last Thursday’s workout. Wow! What a workout. I had a bench press PR of 245lbs. I haven’t seen numbers like that since 2013 (pre-dialysis).
The E+ energy drink and the Ionic Supreme were miracle workers. I just wanted to get through a workout on less than 5hrs of sleep. I ended up dominating my workout.
I was energized, my endurance was through the roof and I had laser focus. What amazed me was the calmness I felt during the workout. It felt like a God given boost of energy. As you can see in the image I had no room left for weights on the sled. The way I felt I easily could of added more weight.

My education consists of a Masters Degree in Exercise Science and three of strength and conditioning's top certification. The majority of my coaching experience took place within professional baseball. I was the Assistant Minor league Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for the New York Mets from 2002-2013. After being forced into retirement due to a kidney disease I had to begin my new life and my new coaching career. Today I teach athletes of all ages optimal training techniques designed to enhance performance and minimize injuries. Mentally, we teach our athletes the importance of proper preparation and maximum effort during all activity.
