Kinks cut out of the killed T-bar so we can repurpose in the future. This stuff is too expensive for us to just hand over for pennies at the recycling center. … And we ain’t too proud to cut a corner when we can.

Sheet metal day is more fun when you do it cause you wanna, instead of when you have to. Oh well. Keep diggin’ until things turn around and then dig a little more.
When the guy in front of you hits the brake instead of the gas, this is the result. You get to spend your part of the purse money on a new radiator.

Just another on a scorching Sunday afternoon!
Anyone got any lead for a race car they want to part ways with?
We originally planned to be competing this weekend, but unfortunately a broken rear end kept us away from the track. ... Despite that, we know we are lucky to live in a country where we can do the things we love. ... On this 2024 Memorial Day, we'd like to say THANK YOU to all those who served in the military, including our driver, Jim Gray ... There are so many others that I know I'd leave someone out if I tried to mention them all, so just know that the JGM team is thankful for all who have served!
I understand that sometimes it's absolutely necessary to rework a track before the main event. But what ever happened to prepping a track and letting it transition from the start of the night to the end? Yes, sometimes the weather prevents this. But if it's not the weather, then why? Is it bad dirt? Bad prep? Or just the desire to rework the track smack in the middle of the show?

Question for my racing friends:
Opening lap of the race. There’s a crash. No laps completed. Cars are all separated and fenders pulled, etc. But officials are struggling to pull the flopper and whatnot off of one car. Unable to get the fender/bumper properly cleared, they decide to use a tractor/front-end loader to pull the bumper/etc. clear — while the car is sitting on the front straightaway — and the car then gets his spot back to restart the race.
Is this proper procedure?
Should the car have been forced to pull to the infield if the official couldn’t pull the bumper clear by hand?
Would this have happened on lap 15 also?
If they did this, should he have restarted on the tail?
Don’t be shy, let me know what you think.
