JKA Atlanta is a Shotokan school promoting traditional karate in the North Metro Atlanta area. He is a certified judge, examiner, and instructor by the JKA.

Karate is a self-defense system from Japan that uses punches, kicks, strikes, and blocks. Every technique and movement is based on physical movement theory and taught in spirited classes that are designed to challenge all levels of ability. Shotokan karate is a linear style developed by Gichin Funakoshi in the 1920s.
JKA Atlanta is affiliated with the Japan Karate Association - American Federation (JKA/AF), which is affiliated with the Japan Karate Association - World Federation (JKA/WF). The JKA/AF was founded by Sensei Takayuki Mikami in 2009; for more information, visit www.jkaaf.org.
