This poor little sign. 🥺
Are you creative? Would you like to help the Bark Park?
Let us know if you would like to create a weather proof sign to be mounted on our tree nursery!!!!
Did you know Ellicott Island Bark Park has a tree nursery???
We use this area to store and grow native plants and trees for transplant around the island.
It has been neglected a bit over the years, but on Monday our stalwart Grounds Caring Crew got to work and got it DONE!!!!
All cleaned up and ready for new projects!!!!
Amazing work!!!
Special thanks to Marty Glaeser & Gail Silvestri for rolling up your sleeves and pitching in!!!!
Interested in helping? We meet at the park every Monday from 11-2 with a list of projects!!!
Thank you for your patience!!!!
Here are some of the renovations & a few new additions you may have noticed at the park! These are all thanks to our volunteers on the Grounds Caring Committee & our Gardening Committee. This year, these volunteers have been getting together every Monday from 11am - 2pm. If you are interested in helping, just stop in! We still have lots of little projects we are working on, including the continued renovations of the round garden that you can assist us with. Just look for us in our storage area, near the men's restroom. Hope to see some new faces!
Please be patient with Erie County Parks, Recreation & Forestry staff tomorrow, as they complete their scheduled maintenance tasks.

One final task remains for our Erie County Maintenance Crew to finish in the morning – please be understanding as they work on laying a new stone floor in the Turtle Landing shelter.
