Congratulations to Savanna! She has had a big year! Through her efforts she has taken examinations and practicals and has achieved the prestigious credentialing of CPOT. She also recently attended Optometry's National meeting and was selected as the American Optometric Associations Paraoptometric of the year! Her effort and dedication to our patients and the field is recognized on a national level and we are glad to have her as our administrator and involved in patient care at Total Eye Care! Congratulations to our very own Savanna Johnson CPOA for winning the Southern Council of Optometry’s Paraoptometric of the South Award in Atlanta this weekend. On a daily basis Savanna pours herself in to the practice to make sure our patients, staff, and doctors are taken care of. It is well deserved to see your hard work, passion, and dedication to our practice and our patients being recognized on a national level. Total Eye Care was represented well at our Mississippi Optometric Association annual conference in Flowood this week. Dr. Hatfield, Dr. Michael, Abbey, and Savanna were able to further their knowledge on the latest techniques and practices during classes, workshops, and seminars to better care for our patients and serve our communities when they get home. Dr. Hatfield had his swearing in ceremony as a member of the board of directors for the Mississippi Optometric Association. Savanna won the Mississippi paraoptometric of the year award and the community service award. This is a great achievement and she will now go on to represent Mississippi on a regional and national level throughout the next year. We are proud of her! School is back and Total Eye Care wants to recognize a special teacher!!! Total Eye Care paired up with Eight Days of Hope for a few hours today and we were so blessed we could help serve our community. If you have a few hours we encourage you all to get out and serve! Our community needs all the help it can get!
