Kuro-mame Pan 🫘

Kuromame (Sweet Black Soybeans) literally “black bean (黒豆)” in Japanese, is often served on New Year’s Day as a part of traditional Japanese New Year’s meal.

We infused these sweet black beans with a soft and lightly sweet bun, dusted with Kinako (soybean flour) on top.

The New Year is a great time to celebrate the end of a year and the beginning of another year. In Japan, there are also many customs and traditions associated with bringing in the New Year as well. We hope you get to "Enjoy the little things" with your loved ones!
