Today, we honor and celebrate Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day, commemorating the emancipation of those who had been enslaved in the United States. It's a time to reflect on our history, acknowledge the progress made, and continue the fight for equality and justice for all.

As a community of educators, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse community where every voice is heard and valued. Let's use today as an opportunity to educate ourselves, uplift Black voices, and work towards a future where freedom truly means freedom for everyone.

🌈 Fullerton College Pride Flag Rises High! 🏳️‍🌈

June 5 marked a momentous occasion as Fullerton College raised the Pride flag high for the first time in its 111-year history. Inclusivity, acceptance, and love are at the heart of the Fullerton College community. is committed to creating a safe and welcoming space for all individuals.

The team at , an amazing week of learning, sharing and networking with other professionals who are passionate about the educational access and success of diverse, traditionally underrepresented student populations.

It was a night of Thank Yous, Congratulations and Farewells at the Board of Trustees meeting celebrated faculty and staff hitting 25, 30, 35 and 40 years at the District, as well as those who are retiring after many years of service.

The Board also bid farewell to Student Trustees Chloe Serrano and Jessie Ramirez as they prepare for the next step in their academic journeys at UCLA and UC Berkely, respectively.

Lastly, the Board celebrated the 2024 3C2A Softball Champions Fullerton College, the first state softball championship title for the Hornets in 44 years!

AND kudos to Cypress College Associated Students President Arjun Ayyaddan, for being the first student EVER picked for the Stanford University Law Scholars Institute! Ayyaddan is also the first students in 14 years to be accepted into Stanford.
