This was our first year with goats (Nigerian Dwarfs) and they have been so fun! We lucked out with super friendly mom and dad goats who gave us the sweetest kids.

Remember two days ago when it was almost summer?? Ugh. Stop it snow! On a positive note for our friends up North, we just restocked Alaska Feed in Fairbanks with coops and doghouses 🐓🐶

Thanks to all our followers, Jolene (now named Brandy) has found the BEST forever home. Thanks so much to John, Sarah and Ava for loving her as much as we do!

Our first-time goat mama had two healthy twin babies on Tuesday. Thank you Summer and Alaska Farm Supply for all you do to help us!

Hi! My name is Jolene and I am 7 weeks old. I am soooo excited that Arctic Chicken Coops is fostering me! But I’m also looking for my forever home. I know I am not a chicken, but I am a really cute and fun girl. I am also working hard to learn new things (like to sit and come, and to go potty outside). FREE CHICKEN COOP ALERT!! Do you or someone you know have the worst coop ever?

A very generous customer moved out of state and gave us their insulated Hen coop instead of selling it. We put some Arctic Chicken Coop love into it and now it’s as good as new. We would like to give it away to a deserving chicken owner!

All you have to do:

1. Like our page if you haven’t yet.
2. Post a picture in the comments of your horrible coop.

We will pick the three worst and then put it to a vote on our page.

The “winning” coop will be replaced by this awesome refurbished Arctic Chicken Coop ($1700 value). As always we will offer free delivery anywhere between Anchorage and the Valley. Please submit entries by November 18th.

Hello Chicken Friends! We have a new standard Rooster coop available now. It was used as our "show" coop and has never housed chickens. Free delivery between Anchorage and Wasilla/Palmer. However because this coop is painted, we are not able to take it apart. Must be able to deliver whole.

What a view from Arctic Chicken Coops last night!! Anyone else catch the amazing show? The lack of sleep was totally worth it!

Introducing our newest run - for the chicken math in all of us!

Our new “Orpington” run is 7ft tall featuring overhanging roof and french doors for easy accessibility. This run has 6ft sidewalls and corrugated polycarbonate roof with plenty of support to hold the snow load. Your chickens will have more light throughout the year and you will have better access to your coop and birds!

We just dropped several insulated Pullet and Hen coops at Kenai Feed! Get down there and grab one while you can 🐓

Whew - what a weekend! We got Alaska Feed Company in Fairbanks all stocked up. They are now carrying our Rooster, Hen and Pullet models along with doghouses and a rabbit hutch. Go check them out!

Chicken village Arctic Chicken Coops its all coming together finally

Chicken coops and runs starting at $550, made right here in Anchorage! Below are all of the models we have available with pricing for standard and insulated versions. We have updated the post to add our run options.

All coops have multiple nesting boxes with magnetic door, screened window(s) that open for ventilation, multiple roosts, electrical outlet(s) already installed - ready for heat, light, etc.

Our coops and runs are built in panels and can be easily assembled on site. That also means our coops can go anywhere you want them - we can get them through even the smallest of gates!
