LOCAL BUSINESS OWNERS BEWARE OF PHONE SCAMS‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

Today, someone attempted to scam one of my employees over the phone for all of our cash. Fortunately, their attempt was unsuccessful. I want to spread awareness to local businesses to prevent scamming from happening in our community.

These scammers target and take advantage of people by claiming to be the IRS and threatening victims with legal repercussions. The scammers try to get the victim to purchase and send visa gift cards or money orders. This is not something that the IRS actually does.

Please spread the word and make sure you know how to handle scammers. We have a wonderful, thriving community, and we don’t want to see anyone get scammed!
