Radiant Kid's Volunteer Appreciate Dinner! 🍁✨

We appreciate all of our wonderful volunteers! We couldn't do this without you. The saying is true: to raise healthy, thriving children "it takes a village"! 🏘️🏠🏡

The worship team doesn't tell simply "ghost stories" around a camp fire....they tell HOLY GHOST stories! 😆🙌🕊️🔥

The kitchen /lounge is getting a make-over. One more thing that will help us be family, by having a cozy space to pray, share, relax or have a meal! 🥖🥣

Well SOTC fam, we have GOOD 😍news and BAD 😭news:
Bad news: our worship night in Ann Arbor is canceled due to having no power. Good news: this fall we our launching our SECOND SOTC location! (Welcome the CITY OF BRIGHTON to the family!!) We now have TWO DIFFERENT rotations of Sounds of the City worship nights and we are trusting God to add more cities to our family! 🏢🏢🏢

We have always been a praying church that hosts prayer meetings prior to service, but the last several weeks as a church we've made a commitment to pray together in smaller groups after the teaching during our main service. You can imagine all the new comers and introverts feeling very uneasy about this, 😏 and yet we've heard testimony after testimony of how powerful and life changing these moments have been. People who initially were quite frustrated that they were encouraged to engage in this kind of vulnerability end up encountering God's power in such a profound way that now they can't WAIT for our time of prayer. Praise Jesus that He sets us free like this! 🙌

The ministry of God's people doesn't belong to a select few who serve on a stage. WE ALL carry the power and authority of the Spirit and have spiritual gifts the Lord wants to bless others with. Likewise, God's desire is for YOU to receive ministry through the family.

There is power in the name of Jesus. There is power in prayer. Jesus said, "My house will be called a house of prayer..." And to that we say, "Amen!".

We're hosting tomorrow! A night for our whole city! Tell your friends! 🖤
