Delta Bay Kids

We had an awesome weekend at our Kids Fall Fest Camp on Saturday and Trunk or Treat Sunday on Sunday. Delta Bay Church of Christ

Hello DBK parents! All of you by now should have received a blue Delta Bay kids bag with a lot of goodies in it for our upcoming quarter with our kids Ministry. For the foreseeable future, our classes will remain online. The Littles class will be held on Monday and the big kids class will be held on Tuesday, we will confirm the time for each class by the end of this week. Below you will find a picture of the items in your bag, I've also included a description for each. The littles bag is a little different. Please wait for your teachers instructions to use the items in the bag, they are for special projects and activities.

1. Daily Devotional book (remember to read it daily there will be points and prizes for those who do.)
2. A prayer journal – your teacher will explain how to use this
3. Two greeting cards - there will be a special activity
4. A box of brownies, enjoy making these together on a family fun night of your choice
5. Bird seeds – we will give you special instructions for this
6. A folder with handouts - these are all of the handouts you will need for the quarter
7. A wooden cross - feel free to decorate this with the stickers that are placed in the bag and any other arts and crafts you have around your home. Send a picture of your final project to sister Tiffany by the end of the month
8. Glow sticks - those were just for fun!!😃

Parents, how are you doing with your devotional magazine from D6: Fusion Family? I found that this sentence from yesterday’s devotional gave me a renewed spirit.

“The dark place is actually a hiding place. Your life is hidden with Christ in God (Colossians 3:3)”

What an awesome feeling to know even on our darkest days, when we are at our wits end, God is using it as a hiding place in Him! He’s looking for you, to allow Him to protect you and keep you as you work through it with Him, not a part from Him. This gave me all the feels! As I work through distance learning with our kids and other life circumstances I’ll continue to give God all the Glory and Honor.

If you haven’t had a chance to pick up your devotional, check it out. Allow God to speak to you through His word. I promise, it’s a perspective shifter for sure!

The lesson this week reminds all ages that our world is the creation of the almighty God and not the result of
random chance. 🌎 Talk with your children or grandchildren about what they are told by our culture about where all things came from and how it all started.

We encourage your family to read Genesis 1 and contrast the world’s theory of evolution with what the Bible teaches us about God’s creation of all things.
