One of life’s frustrations is that God’s timetable is rarely the same as ours. We are often in a hurry when God isn’t. Real growth is never the result of a single experience, no matter how powerful or moving. Today we talk about the ways to gradually develop the habits of Godly character.

To understand our purpose in life, we must begin with God's nature and character. One description of God's character is love. God doesn't just have love or show love, God IS love. Everything He created is an object of His love, especially YOU!

We've been bombarded with horrific truth and deceptive lies surrounding the current world events. The Middle East may seem a world away, at least culturally, but it's so important for us to see what God says about these events. I don't have the answers to world problems, but God certainly does. Let's talk about what He wants from Israel and from all of us.

Jesus hasn't called us to retreat or to live a life of ease. He made it clear to His disciples and to us that if we are going to follow Him, we'll be living "Beyond Comfortable."

What or who leads you into temptation? Why do we all lead ourselves into temptation? Understanding the ways we're tempted helps us avoid what leads in that direction.
