There will be 2 White Elephant drawings. You have to be here as winners will be picking bags with the possibility of upgrading/stealing/locking in. As such, we can’t reveal what’s in the bags - but they include several limited bottles. The drawings will be independent, so you can win in both.

The first drawing will be from the general box.

The second drawing will be from tickets given to anyone who purchases the following - give your receipt to Adam or Tony for entries.

A few things for today and into the weekend. But first, everyone have a safe and happy Labor Day weekend!! We are open 9-9 today and Saturday and 9-5 Sunday and Monday. Now back to specials and events:

1. Two Flags Vodka will be here from 1-4 Saturday tasting their product.

2. We have the following available for purchase: Old Ezra 7yr Bourbon and Rye are back in the store. Buffalo Trace (non-pick) is still available and we have some Fortalezza Blanco. Ask Adam or Tony for the Fortalezza.

2. We do still have some of the items from last weekend if you want to spend $50 on closeouts on the bar or any of our barrel picks. What’s left? Buffalo Trace 2024 pick, Old Forester 2022 and 2021 picks, Russell’s Reserve pick and a couple Blantons I just found were still there

3. We will have a white elephant drawing at 3pm tomorrow. More on that tomorrow morning. Obviously you need to be here to participate. And we will have some ways to get additional tickets as well.

Here is a weekend update (nod to SNL)!

1. We still have the limited offerings in the first two pictures available.

2. Want some extra tickets for today’s drawing? Buy any closeout pictured on the bar (time to get them out of here), or any starlight pick and Adam will give you 5 extra entries. You know since he’s feeling good he will also give you 5 extra with a Michters 20 pour (yes, Andrei -yesterday included). Ask Adam for extra tickets. Cashiers won’t be involved.

3. Pictured bottles are in the 3pm drawing from the large box. This is for the right to buy. All pricing in yesterday’s post. You do not have to be here but those in attendance pick first and at least 20 of the 40 will go with someone here. We will post those not here after the drawing.

4. Say goodbye to Quentin at 2pm. We will have some pizza here as well. He is here Sunday and Monday too if you miss him today. No pizza those days.

5. It’s Don’s birthday today (Sandy’s too). Wish them a happy birthday (no, you don’t get an extra ticket). That is Adam pictured with Don circa early 1970.

Lots going on this weekend!! First, stop in tomorrow to say goodbye to Quentin as he works his last weekend prior to joining the Air Force. We will have pizza at 2pm to celebrate with him!

Second, Michters 20yr (this is the 2022 release) now on the bar at $200.

Third, we have Buffalo Trace Straight Rye and Wheat and the Limited Release of Starlight Toasted to add to what came out yesterday. Those are still available as well. First come first served. We don’t have a lot of any of them.

Fourth, we have a great closeout on this Japanese Whiskey. Was $59.99 now $29.99.

And finally, drawing tomorrow at 3pm (after Quentin’s goodbye) for the right to buy!! Some new picks in today. These are both MGP distillate. Barrel 190 is a high rye 36% mashbill aged in Indiana. Barrel 735 is the 21% rye mashbill which was finished in Florida. Loved them both and hope you do too. Plus these are very reasonably priced for 7 yr MGP. This is a collaboration with a local whiskey group.

1. Sign up for Thirsty Third Thursday featuring Dancing Goat next Thursday the 15th. This will be a good one with a great guest!! Limited to 25 people.

2. We have 1 bottle of Yamazaki 18yr. It is $560. First come first served. Ask for Adam or Tony.

3. We are running low on Caribou Crossing and Old Forester barrel picks. Around 30 of each so don’t wait too much longer.

4. Adam will have a drawing this weekend. Figure 3pm or so. More stuff coming in this week so further details as we get closer.

They have a very interesting story in that their owner invented Rumchata and Tippy Cow. He’s a great guy who has been in the industry for a long time and his son is deeply involved in their Whiskey venture. Don’t wait to sign up for this one!! This will be a blind drawing. Everything will be bagged and numbered. Tickets will be drawn from big box. It will not be a white elephant but will have some twists if you care to partake. A couple of choices included are a CYPB and EH single barrel.
