๐Many times, we face an internal conflict of interest where our words don't align with our thoughts or feelings.
๐This can lead to confusion when our actions don't match what we say.
๐It's important to have harmony between our thoughts, words, and actions for us to be in sync with ourselves.
๐Our mind controls our movement, so it's crucial that we strive for oneness and agreement between our mind, mouth, and movements.
๐Mindfulness & Meditation are good practices to help us align with ourselves!

I believe that most distractions come to challenge our emotional discipline and commitment to purpose. With this frame of reference, food is no different. I have found that training ourselves to consistently keep purpose at the forefront of our pursuit can help us make aligning choices.

It has been extremely challenging and equally rewarding.
Although what I thought I knew has been challenged, many principles have been confirmed...One is, Mindset is Everything!

I understand we can struggle with the little things that can drastically improve our health and performance. As a result of a conversation, I offered a water challenge to someone, and I decided to open that challenge to anyone else who is struggling to get adequate hydration.
Our water intake is based on body weight and activity level.
Generally, most adults should consume close to a gallon of water a day.
I'm keeping it simple!
1. Determine your water goal. Example: A gallon of water per day
2. Post a water selfie in your story throughout the day
3. Tag me
4. Add hashtag
Reminder, if you don't hit your goal starting out, it's okay. Work towards getting closer to it each day! Its community accountability and plus, Fitness is Fun with Friends!

๐ Our fitness efforts and nutritional habits should "always" produce good health: physically, spiritually, mentally, socially, and environmentally.
๐ We do not have to compromise one for the other.

Giving Thanks is Healthy for the Soul!
๐ค People like to think the body, soul and spirit live in different corners of the house. This thinking is highly flawed. All three aspect of our being functions as one.
๐ What is going on in the soul (mind, will and emotions) are showing up in your body and spirit.
๐ What is going on in the spirit is showing up in the body, and soul.
๐ What is going on in the body is a testament to what we are consuming and how we are moving both physically which is visible and spiritually which is invisible
๐งโโ๏ธ In order to function as our highest self our approach to fitness and health must be holistic in nature.
๐คHey, I'm not going to sugar coat this...I have some questions for you...
๐ Are you slowly killing yourself with unhealthy foods & unhealthy nutritional habit?
๐ What are you consuming?
๐ Is it food naturally produced?
๐ Or is it man produced?
๐ Are you processing the life out of your food?
๐ There is Health & Healing in the foods that we eat!
๐ Food that has life, is life giving!
๐ Eat nature's food, at the right time and in the right quantity to achieve good health and well being!
Recently a friend shared some helpful insight regarding boundaries and it was actually confirmation from self reflection. Even though I knew it was true, and accurate observation, it still stung a little bit. It's a reminder that all transformation in every area of life starts with facing the truth.
๐Facing the truth regarding important health numbers (blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose, body fat percent, etc.)

๐Facing the truth regarding relationships
๐Facing the truth regarding emotional, mental & spiritual health
๐๏ธโโ๏ธThe truth will always challenge us, most often it is uncomfortable, and sometimes even offensive, but I guarantee freedom, growth, and strength is on the other side!
๐ Let's have the courage to face the truth no matter what it is!
๐คAnd let us encourage and help each other to face it!
Yes, we are women, and we are beautiful emotional creatures!
However, we cannot allow our emotions to lead us on this journey.
Be led by the spirit,
Rooted in the promises of God for every area of life, and

I wanted to reengage a little differently as we approach the end of the year and share some food for thought...
The Church and The World are both wrong and right.
The Church primarily focuses on spiritual fitness and health, while often time neglecting physical fitness and health with the exception of believing in healing miracles.
The World primarily focuses on physical fitness and health, while often time neglecting spiritual fitness and health with the exception of mindfulness.
They are both right, but they are both wrong in not addressing the whole person which is both physical and spiritual.
The Church has an advantage and an opportunity to be an example of Kingdom Fitness and Health if we reevaluate our approach and engage the whole person in fitness and a healthy lifestyle.

I took a little time away from social media, and it was much needed. It allowed me to reorganize things and align my thoughts and intentions. Sometimes you must pull back to go farther!
