The NEW Mental Health Connection was born out of the findings from the LIFE Study, a ThedaCare Plunge, and a Mental Health Summit in 2011. The community was further motivated by a cluster of teen suicides that shook the Fox Valley. It's Children's Mental Health Awareness Week and The Connection is excited to celebrate Healthy Teen Minds, an eight-year initiative to improve the mental health of teens in Northeast Wisconsin. Join us for our May Mental Health event on Thursday, May 9 at Catalpa Health, 4635 W. College Ave., Appleton, as we share out the impact of this community-wide project! We will serve a light breakfast at 7 a.m., followed by the program from 7:30 - 9:30 a.m.
