Rescheduled for Saturday. Come by!
Hey, y’all. has generously pledged a $1000 donation match for fill dirt funds. If you’re able to help with a donation, you will make double the impact! Thanks so much. ❤️
We got our power back last night. We’re all very tired and working on cleanup and getting back to normal. Thanks for loving us.
Did you know that it’s World Mental Health Day? Oh, the irony.
Everyone here is ok and accounted for! We have no power, which means no water. But everyone got fresh water yesterday, so we will cross our fingers that the power outage will end quickly. I do have the generator, but the one big enough to run the well pump has to be wired into the house panel, and I’m not a fan of messing around with electricity. We will utilize patience. Lots of branches and standing water. The biggest need right now is to raise money for fill dirt for the flooded areas. Pete needs a dry place to eat his breakfast. Cleanup will be slow and steady. Protecting my mental health by not overwhelming myself.
Thank you for worrying over us. I love you.
Caught a little break in the rain. Going to be quite a bit of water on the ground for a while. (Eric is not amused.) Power is still on. Keep the good juju coming.
Really tired of watching these come straight for us. Maybe y’all could make a donation if you have the means.
Hey, y’all. I’ll be vending at this market with some SFS merch and some fun vintage pieces from my former life as a buyer and seller of all things old and cool. Come out and say hi!
Thank you for checking on us. I have some debris cleanup to do, but we are all in one piece. ❤️
Hi. Thanks for checking on us. So far, we are just a little soggy. Definitely having some Hurricane Ian PTSD, though. RIP to what was left of my mental health. 🪦🧠
People have asked how they can help right now (thank you). The biggest two things are financial support and placement assistance. Please reach out to every sanctuary or safe home you know and beg them to consider taking in some potbelly pigs. I believe I have placement for the big pigs and Pete. There are 16 small pigs who need safe placement. The ideal situation is for them to go in family groups. The Simpsons pigs are a family of 6. The Office pigs are a family of 7. Please help me find safe homes for them. We all know what the alternatives are. This is not immediate, I just need to have a plan for everyone. Pigs are incredibly difficult to place, so I want to have as much time to look for safe placement for them as possible.
Thank you all for your love and support. ❤️
Hey, y’all. I wanted to let you know that last weekend, Maia, Arcus, and Betty Mae left SFS for their new, safe forever home. I’m grateful to their adopters, who live right down the road and have committed to caring for them for life. I’m grateful to my neighbor for bringing a trailer over, helping me get them loaded, and driving us to their destination. I’m grateful to all of you for helping me to care for them for the past five years.
I’m still processing this, sorting out the feelings of incredible loss, gratitude, failure, and relief. If you’ve been here since the beginning, you watched Maia and Arcus come home in the back of my Volvo at just a week and a half old. You watched me become their mom, bottle feeding them for months. It’s hard to believe those tiny babies grew into 2000-pound giants. I’m so humbled that I have had the opportunity to love them.
The financial situation here is pretty dire. I have time to attempt to find homes for everyone, and that’s my primary focus (besides making sure everyone continues to receive the most excellent level of care that Leah and I can provide). There are still 19 pigs, 5 chickens, 11 goats, 3 sheep, a huge flock of ducks, and a giant tortoise who need your financial support in order to continue to thrive in safety, the way that they deserve. SFS may never completely shut down, but changes are definitely coming. Huge ones. Life doesn’t always happen the way you think it’s going to. The mission is still the same. To care for these guys and help people understand that they’re individuals, deserving of life and freedom and safety. Please help me to keep sharing that mission as long as humanly possible. And thank you for your love and support.

The animals have lost hundreds of dollars in monthly patreon support over the last couple of months. I know that finances are tough for everyone. But if you have the means to sign up for even $10 a month, it would mean so much.

Matilda. ❤️
Y’all, I have been trying so hard not to make this post. But here we are.
My caretaker has had to leave her post due to medical issues. I work full time. I have to have caretakers to help get everything done here. On top of that, I had an EMG this week that identified damage to my spine. Probably from the heavy lifting around here.
The fact is that I need to find safe homes for some of the animals. Their safety is my biggest concern. If you know of anyone who can provide a forever home to groups of potbelly-size pigs or goats, please let me know. If you have animal caretaking experience and could help here, please reach out. It is physically impossible for me to do all of this alone.
I’m sorry. I hope you’ll continue your financial support while I try to navigate this time.
Swim time. 🐷🌊
Trimming hooves is the ultimate humiliation.
Flipping pigs is my least favorite thing to do out here. It’s physically exhausting after the first three seconds - pigs are SO strong. So. I accomplished this one thing today.
Five years ago, I met The Simpsons pigs. They’ve had five years of doing whatever the heck they want because of your support. Please hit the donate button for Bart, Lisa, Sherri, Terri, Maggie, and Marge today.
Thank you so much to everyone who has purchased sunscreen for Oni and Sam. We use almost a jar a day to keep these guys sunburn free, and the cost of one jar varies from $6-$10, depending on price shifts. If you can cover a jar, please hit that donate button. 🩵
Good morning. Please enjoy this Tucker kiss to start your Sunday.
Come and hug me today! 😘
Hey, come and see me and grab a shirt on Saturday on the patio!
Me: Dang, why are the pigs feeling so spicy this morning?
Also me, turned up to eleven while I’m filling waters.
Welp, just got the tax return for the last fiscal year and SFS operated on a $30,000 deficit. Would y’all hate me if I supported the animals with an OnlyFans?
Rocky and Bullwinkle vibes.
