The Sarasota Pen Women made their way back to the Bird Key Yacht Club to celebrate the 37th year of the Launching Leader in the Arts competition. Ten high school seniors, accompanied by Pen Women, family, friends and teachers at the awards luncheon, were honored for their incredible talent in the arts. Winners of the letters category were asked to read aloud their winning piece and winners of the arts category had their work on display for all to see. Students and their families and teachers were treated to a complimentary meal that was generously funded by The Friendly Associates in Venice.

It was a wonderful day to celebrate the arts in Sarasota and Manatee County. Thank you to all the Pen Women, sponsors and donors for making this event possible.
