Your favorite local businesses are ready for kids of all ages to start looking for our buddy Waldo, who is playing an Arcata-wide game of hide and seek. He’s sneaky and likes to find a different spot in Bubbles to hang out in every day- make sure to keep your eyes peeled!

Come on into town and join the greatest search of the summer! Every participating business will be able to provide you with a Find Waldo stamp card. The first 125 players who collect stamps from at least 10 different businesses and turn in their stamp cards receive a sticker and a $1 off coupon from Northtown Books! Players who collect at least 20 stamps are also entered into a drawing on August 3rd for other prizes.

Did you know that we grow, harvest and dry all our own herbs and flowers that we use in the shop?

Every year I plant part of my garden to harvest for the store.
The herbs we use in our soaps and fizzes. Most of flower petals to sprinkle in the gift baskets to give them that special extra we all love.
I've spent years sorting out which flowers dry well and preserve their color the best and longest without chemicals or weird added stuff. Some plants, my roses, have been giving for years. Others get sown each spring and depending on the weather, either make it or become slug food.
They are all grown with love and organically by me or one of our bubbles team locally.

It's the little things that make a big difference.
