One of the things that makes us unique as a implementer is the fact that we leverage expertise from Land O'Lakes, Inc. to help us achieve our programming goals. Last month, for example, and experts Jeff Balousek and Tyler Chamberlin volunteered their time to support processors in to improve efficiencies & processes. Through their support, four Tanzanian processors are now equipped with new process maps and guidance documents for how to streamline their operations.
These efforts are part of broader goals of the Tanzania Inclusive Processor-Producer Partnerships in Dairy (TI3P) to transform Tanzania’s dairy sector across the value chain, with a focus on small-scale dairy producers.
In , the USAID Middle East Farmer-to-Farmer Inclusive Food Systems (F2F IFS) and U.S. Department of Agriculture TAIB projects presented at an exhibition by Food Ingredients Africa (Fi Africa) and ProPak MENA.
Hossam Habeeb, our Farmer-to-Farmer country director, explained how the project is facilitating market access through the support of U.S. volunteer experts, while Khalid Shedeed, deputy chief of party of TAIB, highlighted the impact of food commodities on the movement in Africa.
