Kathryn Freeman, Senior Business Coach and Director of Operations at Nolan Consulting Group gives us a taste of what to expect when she leads the upcoming Financial Fundamentals Workshop in September. Summit Members: Find out more information in your Summit Weekly Email and/or the 2024 Programs Calendar!
Kathryn Freeman, Senior Business Coach and Director of Operations at Nolan Consulting Group, tells you what to expect from the Revenue Cookbook. We often see a disconnect between what the Job Costing results tell us and what the P&L tells us, and sometimes, that differential can be found in the Revenue Cookbook.
As your business grows, you want all the individuals on your leadership team to really understand the numbers of your business. Only then can we really plan for and measure strategic next moves. Sometimes, we need to develop those skills in people, in our future leaders, who haven't always been exposed to numbers or finances in prior roles.
Our upcoming Financial Fundamentals Workshop will make use of the Summit Financial Workbook, which is well-known by listeners and clients and, as Kathryn refers to it, is an Architectural Wonder! The workshop is designed for bookkeepers, office managers, field leaders, ops leaders, and anyone who wants to better understand the NCG Financial Workbooks and the components of the P&L.

Collaboration is imperative when defining your business's processes. Get input with the larger vision in mind, but include the hands making it happen. As the owner, realize that as your business quickly grows, you will have to trust your team and not be as involved in all tasks and departments.
