➡️There can be more to children getting cavities than just eating too much candy. Here are some healthy habits for staying cavity free:

•Floss nightly. Most children get cavities between the teeth.

•Eliminate starchy snacks as much as possible.

•Eat on a schedule. If snacks are needed, limit the frequency and amount consumed. If possible, no less than 2-3 hours between snacks.

•Drink lots of water between meals.

•Check Vit D levels with your pediatrician.

•Nose breathe and of course visit your pediatric dentist every 6months.

I am delighted to inform you that I am still actively practicing dentistry, caring for our wonderful little patients with the same love and dedication as always. But that's not all—something magical is brewing behind the scenes at Young Smiles Pediatric Dentistry! 🎉

Over the past few months, I have been hard at work, crafting a vision that will take your dental experience to new heights. We believe that every child deserves the absolute best care, delivered in a warm and inviting environment that makes them feel safe, comfortable, and excited about their dental visits.

With that in mind, we have been designing a brand-new space that will be a dream come true for both children and their parents. Our goal is to create an oasis of happiness and oral health, a place where little ones can let their imaginations soar while receiving top-notch dental care. 🌈✨
