SENTINEL SUMMER FUN FRIDAYS: Fun Activities That HELP Your Child BE Fit, Strong, & Healthy
Each of our Fun Fridays is filled with fun activities; skill- and character-building challenges; goofy fun and games; pizza, snacks and drinks; and more that will leave your child grinning from ear to ear! Sentinel Summer Fun Fridays are a blast, and your kids will be exposed to new information, experience and movement that will stimulate their body and brain to help them get fitter, smarter, stronger - inside and out.

Each Fun Friday includes unique activities, games and knowledge that fit the awesome theme for the night.

JUNE 9 - Super Mario. Master the Super Mario real-life video game obstacle course challenge, build and race your own Mario Kart, and go on a fabulous Mario adventure! Power up punch, pizza, star cookies and piranha plant fruit skewers feed the hungry adventurers.

JUNE 23 - Classic Games. Retro games are addictive - they challenge your motor skills, brains and patience and keep you coming back for more! We’ll kick off this Friday with stations where you can try them out at your leisure including jacks, cat’s cradle, Chinese jump rope and more. Then play exciting group games including classics like Capture the Flag and land Marco Polo plus lesser-known ones like What’s the Time, Mr. Wolf? and Please, Mr. Crocodile. We’ll cap off this night with a four-square tournament and classic treats like pizza, Kool-Aid, rice krispie treats, and rainbow jello.

JULY 7 - Ninja Warrior. Train to be a champion through challenges in running, jumping, climbing, hanging and swinging! Then compete for your best time in our Ultimate Ninja Warrior course. You’ll also get to try some REAL Ninja stuff like nunchaku, swords and throwing stars. Only Japanese snacks can satisfy after all this Ninja exertion, so besides pizza, kids will get to chow down on snacks like Pocky and Ramune soda.

JULY 21 - Balloon Craze. First make your way through a balloon-flooded obstacle course, dodging balloon projectiles and shooting balloon arrows. Then learn how to twist balloons and make some simple balloon animals and weapons. Finally, we’ll test out our balloon creations in an ultimate battle. Of course there will be pizza and snacks to feed the hungry troops.

AUGUST 4 - Party Time. Deck yourself out for the dance with fluorescent face paint, Glo Sticks, cool shades, maybe a single glove! Learn the best dance moves of all time like the Moonwalk, the Floss, the Tornado and more! Then shake, wiggle, twirl, jump, and stomp the night away to disco lights, bubbles and great music. If you’re dance-deficient, you can roll to the music on our roller boards or sing the night away instead in the Karaoke Room. There will be plenty of rehydrating drinks and sustaining snacks, including the indispensable pizza.

Sentinel Martial Arts will be on stage at the Asia Times Square Lunar New Year Festival! Come out and enjoy delicious Asian food, shopping, cultural experience, music, dance and performances. Our shows are January 7 @ 6 p.m., Saturday, January 14 @ 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, January 21 @ 7:00 p.m.
