April 15th may not feel so daunting this year. The Office of Online Services (OLS) at the IRSis playing a big role in transforming the taxpayer experience as people increasingly opt to file digitally. The agency is making a massive push to increase accessibility and transparency across its taxpayer services, including allowing taxpayers to reach the IRS in multiple ways, more easily claiming credits and deductibles they qualify for, and making informed decisions about their taxes.
We talked to Karen S Howard and April Harding from the OLS at IRS about what taxpayers can expect for 2024 and the technology they’re using to get us there.

Rebuilding after a disaster is a critical opportunity to fortify and improve the of our communities. We helped the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) better explain and promote its mitigation assistance loan program that allows home and business owners to adopt mitigation measures when rebuilding with an SBA disaster loan. We created social media graphics, application process infographics, dozens of fact sheets and presentations, and a preparedness guide for businesses—all of which have encouraged more people to build back better with an SBA mitigation assistance loan.
To limit , more than 600 companies have pledged to align with the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi) to limit global warming to 1.5°C by 2030. We’re one of them.
