The Surveys for Monitoring in Resilience and Food Security (SMRFS) project, backed by USAID, leverages advanced mapping and data tools to combat global hunger and enhance food security.

Blue Raster and ICF are key players in this initiative, creating user-friendly dashboards and detailed maps, and training local partners in Uganda to use these tools. This effort supports vital strategies like the Multi-sectoral Nutrition Strategy and the Global Water Strategy, ultimately fostering more resilient and food-secure communities worldwide. 🌍 Exciting News! The DHS Program updated their Spatial Data Repository! 🎉 Now you can explore maps and data from around the world with ease. Plus, they've added cool new features like Model Datasets to help you analyze the data yourself. Check it out today and start uncovering insights about our world.

In case you didn't know, the Spatial Data Repository provides geographically-linked health and demographic data from The DHS Program and the U.S. Census Bureau for mapping in a geographic information system (GIS).

🌾 Exciting Update! Last week Blue Raster participated in the first in-person workshop for the ACR Agriculture Registry.

Along with Winrock/ACR ( ), Riceland Foods ( ), and Arva Intelligence ( ), this workshop focused on the UI/UX design and discovery process for the new Agriculture Registry being built by Blue Raster under the USDA’s Partnerships for Climate-Smart Commodities initiative.

Stay tuned for updates as we begin this important project supporting U.S. rice and beef producers with increased adoption of climate-smart practices to reduce emissions and store carbon. 🌍
