Our Story
For nearly eight years the Ballston BID’s charitable arm, BallstonGives has planned and hosted Taste of Arlington. TOA has been the largest food+beer+wine festival showcasing the diversity of Arlington’s food scene and attracting over 25,000 food lovers from all over the region. Beginning in 2019, in celebration of the developments and additions to the Ballston neighborhood, this well-known festival will now be known as Quarterfest.
Ballston Quarter and other redevelopments including Ballston Exchange are now open, bringing the number of restaurants in the neighborhood to well over 80, and redefining Ballston as a culinary and nightlife destination. This exciting and highly-anticipated festival will continue to transform Wilson Boulevard into a vibrant dining, shopping and family-fun festival for all ages. New to Quarterfest this year is a restaurant crawl showcasing the vibrant eateries of the neighborhood and an extended two-day outdoor concert and pop-up street pub.
