We were so excited to take part in The Reality Store program today. The Reality Store is a real-world money management simulation activity designed specifically for teens. In this simulation activity, teens are introduced to concepts such as making wise financial decisions, considering costs and benefits, using mathematical applications in real life situations, balancing a budget and a bank account, exploring career choices and education, and understanding how lifestyle decisions affect an individual's finances.

We are grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this awesome event today. Thank you to VCE Arlington for letting us be a part of your program.

Yesterday marked a truly special milestone as we had the honor of attending Arlington Neighborhood Village's 10th Anniversary Celebration! We are proud to have sponsored this event, recognizing the incredible impact ANV has had on the lives of older adults in Arlington.

ANV has become more than just a service provider; it's a lifeline for our community's seniors, offering support, companionship, and resources to help them age in place with dignity. We had a fantastic time at the Wakefield High School College and Career Resource Fair yesterday! 🎓We're grateful for the opportunity to discuss financial literacy and insights with high school students, educators, and parents at our booth. 💡 Looking forward to future collaborations with other Arlington Public Schools to empower our community's future leaders!

On Thursday, we volunteered at Carlin Springs Family Market who partners with Capital Area Food Bank to provide free groceries to families with students at Carlin Springs Elementary School. This past market drew in many local residents, all gathering to receive produce and dry goods provided by the Capital Area Food Bank. Supporting our community that has always supported us is what drives us to do what we do every day.

Here at ACFCU, we love supporting local restaurants! That's why we're thrilled to be a part of Columbia Pike Partnership's Lunch Club. It's not just about enjoying a meal; it's an excellent opportunity to connect with our community, try delicious cuisine, and uplift the incredible small businesses along Columbia Pike each month. A heartfelt thank you to El Pike for treating us to mouthwatering Latin American fare – every bite was a true delight! We're already eagerly looking forward to next month's culinary adventure!
