This weeks shoutout is our Medical records receptionist Hannah! She has also been newly promoted to our onboard specialist!
She has worked at Laurel since September 2020.

Hannah’s favorite thing about Laurel is the family bond we all share and the time and energy that our providers put into their patients and employees!
Her favorite thing about OB/GYN health is knowing and understanding how much a woman’s body can endure and overcome.
Some of Hannah’s hobbies include spending time with her friends and family and riding motorcycles with her husband. She also loves to go shopping, read books and baking in her free time!
She is married to her highschool sweetheart Jamison, has 3 dogs, and a goat and donkey that are inseparable!

Our Employee shoutout of the week is one of our wonderful nurses, Haylan
Her favorite thing about Laurel is how well she gets treated, cared for and seen as an employee. She says everyone here has been wonderful since she became an employee in January 2023. Her favorite thing about OB/GYN health is how inclusive and shame free it is, along with how the patients are cared for.
Some of Haylan’s hobbies include spending time with her loved ones, camping and being outdoors. She is getting married in October 2023 to her Fiancé, Charles. She also has 3 dogs she spends all of her time with!

Our shoutout this week is no one other than Judy! She checks out and schedules all of our patients after their appointments! Her favorite thing about Laurel is the fun environment. She loves that our team works so well together and gets along.
The thing that she loves most about womens health is the relationships she builds with our pregnant patients.
Her hobbies Include reading and going to concerts. She also likes to be outdoors riding horses and camping. Judy and her husband have been married for 16 years and they have a dog that likes to keep them very busy!

This weeks employee shoutout is one of our Sonographers Stephanie! She has been an employee of Laurel since August 2020.
Stephanie’s favorite thing about Laurel is that everyone works as a team and we strive to provide excellent patient care! She also loves that the providers here are all very approachable.
Her favorite thing about OB/GYN health is that as a woman and a mother she can relate to a lot of things that her patients are going through. She loves being a part of the journey, from the beginning of pregnancy to after birth. She has formed friendships that last beyond birth. Some of Stephanie’s hobbies include reading, hiking and spending time with her family. Stephanie is married and has 3 beautiful kids! 2 boys and 1 girl!

This week’s shoutout is one of our lovely front desk receptionists, Lindsey!

Lindsey’s favorite thing about Laurel is how flexible management is with schedules and allowing her to be a mom and an employee, she also loves the coworkers she works with!
Her favorite thing about OB/GYN Health is being able to see the patients go through their pregnancies and seeing the best gift God could give us, kids.
Some of her hobbies include hiking, going to the beach, drawing, making things with her Cricut Machine, and spending time with her family! She is married to her best friend Kevin of 9 years and has 2 beautiful girls!

This week we want to highlight our very own Sonographer Brooke!

If you are a patient here, you have probably experienced Brooke’s kind spirit first hand, especially if you’ve had a pregnancy with our office.
Brooke has been with Laurel going on 4 years! She says she loves her work family and the relationships she is able to form with patients and their families. Our doctors truly are the best and care for our patients and staff in incredible ways.
She is passionate about OB/GYN health! Being a part of a team that values Womens health and empowers women to know their bodies, educating and working through many seasons, even the sad days. She is thankful to have the opportunity to be a part of their journey.
Her hobbies include hiking, watching her kids play sports, working in her garden and reading but mostly being a mom!
She is married to her bestfriend, Alan and has 2 beautiful boys! We are so blessed to have one of the best Sonographers in the business here with us!

This weeks shoutout goes to our favorite assistant Front Office Manager, Shianne!

If you’re a patient at Laurel you have probably been in contact with her. She wears many hats here. She assist with all the front office duties, she is our referral coordinator and even has her CNA’s and helps with clinicals!
Shianne’s favorite thing about Laurel is that the Doctors here are so personable and caring as well as the staff. She couldn’t ask for a better work family.
When it comes to OB/GYN Care there is always something new to learn, and seeing the tiny humans is a bonus too!
When Shianne is not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband Heath and almost 1 year old son. They enjoy four wheeling and playing with their 2 fur babies!

Next up is Dr.Kaplon’s nurse Shannon, this sweet soul started in August of 2019!

Her favorite thing about Laurel is the team and the love that we have for our patients. She doesn’t dread coming to work because we have the best Doctors! OBGYN care means a lot to her because she gets to help awesome patients. She loves being able to meet patients early in their pregnancy and follow their journey all the way through their postpartum visit.
She loves when she and Dr Kaplon are able to solve a problem and see the patient back without any issues! Her hobbies include being a sports mom, likes to attend concerts and being outside doing anything with her kids. She is married to her bestfriend, Ryan and they have 2 beautiful girls!

We know you all have noticed some new faces around the office, so starting this week we will be doing employee shoutouts every Monday! Our first employee is our sweet Benefits Coordinator Katelyn.
Katelyn started in March of 2022!

Katelyn’s favorite thing about working at Laurel Ob/GYN is the overall environment. She says it has the best group of women, is a fun place to work, and everyone is so kind and easy to get along with! Her favorite thing about women’s health is that women can have a sense of control in today’s more modern world where we can be heard, empowered and understood. Her hobbies include photography, taking pictures of dogs, rescuing dogs, talking about dogs, advocating for homeless dogs… dogs in general. Her favorite dog breed is Pit bulls and any bully breed. She loves bringing awareness to their breeds. She is currently expecting her first child -baby girl Collins! She and her husband Ian look forward to meeting her in May! Her family already includes 3 rescue fur babies that are pit mixes that Collins will get to play with!
