Please join us in welcoming Dr. Dana Kelley! Dr. Kelley joined us today at Asheville Women’s Medical Center!
Dr. Kelley will be an integral part of the OB/GYN team at Asheville Women’s, providing obstetrical, gynecology, and surgical care. She received her MD at the University of North Carolina and has been practicing for the past three years in New Mexico. She is very excited to be back in North Carolina and we are excited to have her join our team!

Today we are saying a fond farewell to a 32+ year staple of AWMC. Terri Moore, whose kind voice has calmed and helped guide our patients in our nurse phone triage, is retiring after close to 33 years at Asheville Women's. She will be truly missed !! Congratulations Terri, on a great career and thank you for helping the women of WNC.❤️🩺⚕️❤️

We are also saying a last farewell to one of our other staple phone nurses, Joni Ellis. We celebrated Joni's semi-retirement back in 2021. She stayed on a bit longer as part-time, helping out in the nurse phone room, but has decided to fully retire. We wish the best for Joni & Terri in their future!!

Patients can expect faster results and earlier diagnosis at Asheville Women's Diagnostic Center.

Additionally, this means your breast health care will be even more personalized…

>On-site radiologist! ARA Health Specialists will be present on-site to establish a personal connection with the team performing your breast exam. They will be available to offer expert opinions to both the staff and patients, ensuring that you receive the highest quality care possible during your breast imaging services.


>Same day diagnostic results! We are now able to offer diagnostic mammograms and diagnostic ultrasounds without delaying your results, giving you the peace of mind you deserve.

>On-site breast ultrasound! Patients with dense breast tissue can get the answers they need quickly and conveniently.

>On-site biopsy services! Should you need it, you’ll be able to have an ultrasound guided breast biopsy done in the comfort and convenience of our practice.
