Seeking experienced housekeeping attendant to fill our part time position (20-30 hrs/ week)
Requirements/ Details:
- weekend availability required (morning hours- generally 9am-5pm)
- prior hotel housekeeping experience required
- must be detail oriented and organized
- must be able to communicate effectively with other hotel staff members
- work according to daily rooming list and or deep cleaning schedule as assigned by supervisor
Pay depends on prior experience. Competitive hourly wage offered (range from $16 / hour +)

'Live music is back': The Orange Peel reopens after more than a year There's more than music to celebrate when the venue returns, said the Orange Peel's marketing and special events director Liz Tallent.

Fourth of July in Asheville, N.C. The City of Asheville will not host its traditional Independence Day celebration and fireworks show in 2020.

Our sincere gratitude to you all for your understanding and continued support to us during these unpredictable times.

We have some important updates on our operations as we have been undergoing changing "Stay at Home" orders by our local and state government.

At this time we have been asked to CANCEL ALL LEISURE TRAVEL through April 30, 2020 (subject to be extended at that time). For those of you that are thinking of staying with us, we sincerely appreciate your patronage of our business, especially in these very dire times, however we will be messaging/emailing/calling you to inquire about your PURPOSE FOR STAY. If the purpose of your travel is for essential business, infrastructure or essential family related matters, we will accommodate you as long as you have not been exposed to anyone with COVID-19 or have symptoms yourself. If your visit is for leisure purposes, we will cancel your booking without any penalties. Our operations have also been streamlined for efficiency and protective measures against COVID-19. We will no longer be serving any breakfast items or coffee until further notice.

Our front desk hours are changed to:

Monday-Sunday: 9:00am-2:00pm and 4:30pm-10:00pm
We will have emergency on-call support staff available 24-7, the number is posted on our front door sign.

Buncombe County's Stay at Home Order Update Coronavirus extends Stay at Home order to reduce COVID-19 cases in Buncombe County.

Dear Valued Customers,

The Beaucatcher Motel team is here to assure you that we are closely monitoring the effects on our hotel operations related to COVID pandemic and are continually working to take action on practices and guidelines that are shared with us by way of CDC, County Health Department and other lodging industry communications and protocols. These are just some of the actions we are under taking:

Cancellations/Rebooking- we will honor all cancellation/rebooking requests made for arrival dates between March 17-April 15, 2020 without penalty. All cancellations must be made by 3pm on day of arrival. Please email us at [email protected] or call 828-254-0805.

Cleaning practices - we are following recommended disinfecting practices by the CDC and Buncombe County Health Department to disinfect all recommended contact surfaces in addition to our routine cleaning standards.

Hotel Hours - our hotel is currently staffed as normal and operating under normal business hours (Sun-Thur 7am-11pm and Fri-Sat 24 hrs). You will notice that our staff may wear gloves to protect themselves and customers alike. We are happy to offer gloves to customers based on supply.

Breakfast - in order to limit unnecessary social gatherings, we are restricting use of our breakfast room for dining purposes. A limited continental breakfast will be offered for guests to grab and go.

As we continue to monitor the changes and recommendations put forth by Officials we will update our page accordingly.
