As a small batch bakery/custom cake shoppe we definitely feel both of the ladies posts.

Thank you everyone who has been ordering my new signature cakes! My thought behind starting this was hoping to find a little cheaper option for customers but something to help you keep coming back! I know times are tough right now, I feel like I’m drowning in grocery bills personally. Little cakes like these are helping to keep the lights on for Anarchy. It’s been a rough year for sure and unfortunately It may be my last year. Business has just been very slow, I totally get it, my cakes have definitely always been a luxury item. Unfortunately with inflation my prices also have to keep going up l, although lately I’ve actually been lowering my pricing because I feel so guilty about charging so much. I’m currently making little to no money once all the ingredients are bought and labor hours are put it. It’s definitely become more of a labor of love but I may be looking at having to get a real job soon. After being my own boss for the last almost 6 years and not having to work with others the thought of this definitely terrifies my little introvert soul 😅

I know I’ve gotten a reputation over the years of always being booked and it used to be true but not so much this year. Ive got travel hockey taking up a lot of my Saturday and Sunday spots right now but I’m still open for most Friday pickups and have been doing week of orders too! So it definitely never hurts to ask so please spread the word, let your friends know that there’s definitely a chance that I can take their orders. It would help me out a lot!

Also keep in mind you can special order these signature cakes, you dont have to wait until a flash sale and hope that you’re the first one there 😅. I typically only need a 3 days notice for these.
